Nathalie Vignier is an emergency medicine physician assistant in New Jersey who advocates the use of primary health care services to alleviate the burden on the health system from the overuse of emergency services. She has volunteered in Haiti, providing health care, women’s health education and nutritional services to underweight children in small clinics in and around Croix des Bouquets.

Nathalie earned a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Temple University in Philadelphia and a master’s of public health and physician assistant studies at Arcadia University. She has worked in fiscal services, allocating funds to families with disabled children and advocating for their rights. She has also participated in many health fairs, both in corporate and low-income settings, providing health education and health screenings.

Nathalie is fluent in Haitian-Creole and conversant in French and Spanish.

Nathalie’s wants to work more closely with not-for-profit organizations in Haiti to help establish better health care systems, especially in areas that are isolated. She wants to bring further awareness to health disparities that are present within our communities and supports ideas to curb poor health outcomes.
