Pierre-Richard Prosper is a partner in the law firm of Arent Fox and a former career federal official. He was U.S. ambassador-at-large for war crime issues under President George W. Bush after serving as lead trial attorney in the UN tribunal for Rwanda, where he convinced the court to consider rape in time of war as a form of genocide. Born to Haitian parents in Denver, Colorado, he graduated from Pepperdine University Law School. He was a varsity lacrosse player at Boston College and continues to remain active in sports.
