Betty Dubuisson is a real estate professional with over 20 years of business strategy experience at Fortune 100 companies. As a current member of the leadership team for MetLife Real Estate, Betty is responsible for Client Relationship Management globally. She has spearheaded organizational transformation projects in the US, South America and parts of Asia, working with each of MetLife’s lines of business to ensure alignment between their requirements and the firm’s real estate strategy.
Prior to joining MetLife in 2013, Betty was the Chief Strategy Officer for Citigroup’s Northeast portfolio. In this role, she fostered more effective communication between the various businesses and Citi Realty Services and was instrumental in developing and implementing real estate strategies to support Citi’s evolving business model including acquisitions and dispositions due to the volatile financial market.
Earlier in her career, Betty worked for Goldman Sachs and Soros Fund Management where she leveraged her project and people management skills. At Soros, she consolidated the firms’ global real estate holdings and during her tenure at Goldman Sachs, she migrated all back-office operations to the firms’ New Jersey headquarters. Additionally, she was responsible for overseeing all work associated with the Executive Office and the Global Banking portfolio.
In addition to her extensive corporate real estate accomplishments, Betty is an Executive Coach who earned her coaching certification from Columbia University. In this role, she draws on her training as well as her own professional, philanthropic, and personal journeys to help clients envision and achieve their goals.
Currently serving on the executive board of The Haitian Round Table, she is also a board member of Friends of the Children of Lascahobas Haiti, a non- profit organization that provides humanitarian and medical services to the community in Haiti.
Betty is a graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation – Master of Architecture and holds a BA in Marketing-Management from Baruch College.
