Luc El-Art Severe, JD is an agent of change in his role as Senior Advisor and Stakeholder Engagement Lead for the Virgin Islands of the United States Governor’s Hurricane Recovery Taskforce. Over the past decade, he has held several leadership positions where he has advised and developed recommendations for improving project management, business processes, performance practice, and resource management based on analytical findings. He is a process and performance improvement engineer certified in Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt.
A native New Yorker, Luc is active in the community as a member of several committees and civic organizations including, the National Advisory Committee to the U.S. Census Bureau, Queens Community Board 12, the NYC Health+Hospitals/Gotham Health, the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development Neighborhood Advisory Board, the Haitian Roundtable, and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He is the recipient of the Solomon Sibley Class Distinguished Student Award and the Leadership Achievement distinction, and was recognized in both the Network Journal’s and The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
Luc is a graduate of Morehouse College and earned his law degree at Western Michigan Universityʼs Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
