Pat Lespinasse is a Senior Advisor at Brown & Weinraub PLLC, a leading edge government relations and strategic consulting firm representing a broad spectrum of business interests in New York State across a wide variety of sectors including technology, telecommunications, healthcare, education, economic development, financial services, energy and entertainment. The firm’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, hospitals + health care systems, nonprofit organizations, and startups.
Lespinasse previously enjoyed more than a decade at Verizon Communications where he served as Director of Government and External Affairs responsible for representing Verizon’s interests on a broad range of public policy, legislative, regulatory and corporate responsibility matters across New York State. Prior to transitioning to the private sector, Pat served as a Legislative Aide in the New York State Assembly to Thomas P. DiNapoli, followed by a brief stint in the New York State Comptroller’s Office.
Pat serves on the Board of Directors of The Haitian Roundtable and is past Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the York College Foundation (City University of New York). He is a champion of a variety of causes and routinely sits on ad-hoc fundraising committees for nonprofit organizations, civic groups, and political committees.
An avid and spirited golfer, when Pat is not “on the green” he enjoys books, documentaries, live music, museum lectures and gallery talks. He is also on a personal mission to visit every official U.S. presidential library and museum overseen by the National Archives and Records Administration.
Lespinasse holds a B.A. in Government & Politics from St. John’s University and a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
