Patricia Beauvais-Germain is currently the Northeast Producer for the CBS News division of Newspath. She oversees news assignments in the Northeast for the world’s largest satellite news gathering system. As a regional producer, Beauvais personally manages editorial and video content from 35 CBS affiliates. Patricia was involved in covering several national and international stories for the network-notably the 2008 Presidential Election and the aftermaths of the Hurricane crisis in Haiti.  Prior to joining CBS, Beauvais was a producer at the NBC News Bureau in New York where she was responsible for coordinating daily news coverage for the network’s news division of The Today Show and NBC Nightly News.

Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts of Degree in Communication and a minor in Black Studies from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She is fluent in French and Creole. Patricia is also an active member of the New York Association of Black Journalist, New York Women in  Communications and Films. She also serves on the Advisory Board for Cine Institute.  A non for profit organization that provides Haitian youth with film education, technical training and media related micro enterprise opportunities. Patricia serves on the Board of Directors of Fleur De Vie. A not for profit organization bases in New York that works to support initiatives of global organizations whose mission is to implement social change in their communities. Patricia has over 10 years of experience in Broadcast journalism. She currently resides in Queens with her husband and dog “Cookie”.
